As the gym was becoming more popular and busier we decided to add another floor in 2012
This was started in August 2012 and was finished in January 2013. We didn’t want to shut the gym so we worked around the opening hours on weekends to build it.
Each wooden board had to be manually carried up the stairs and laid, they weighed around 30kg each. No leg workouts needed that week.
Once the floor was laid we had to manually winch the equipment up onto the mezzanine. No better forearm workout.
