We are looking for a fun and outgoing person to join our energetic and friendly team.  The ideal candidate would have an interest in health and fitness, be actively involved in their own training and be willing to engage with customers to help them have a great experience visiting the gym.

Our small team has been carefully crafted and we are looking for the right person to enhance our team not just fit in. You must have a good grasp of English and Maths and ideally be able to work a computer quickly and efficiently.  The role does involve some cleaning but this is minimal.  Your main role will be making every member’s visit an excellent experience.

Hours

• Mondays 5-10pm
• Thursdays 5-10pm
• Extra hours overtime available

Pay – meets minimum wage

Job Role

• Welcoming and signing in members as they come in
• Signing up new members onto our membership system
• Showing prospective members around the gym
• Preparing smoothies, shakes and pre workouts
• Replenishing stock on shelves
• Keeping the gym in a clean and tidy condition during opening hours
• Taking payment for gym products and services

Essential qualities

• Smart and tidy appearance
• Friendly and approachable demeanour
• Ability to have a conversation
• You must lift or exercise regularly
• GCSE level maths and english or equivalent
• Proficient speaking of English

Desirable qualities

• Previous gym or customer service experience
• Previous till and cash handling experience
• Computer literate
• Sense of humour
• Ability to teach gym classes such as spin/circuits
